"I have been drawing since I was ten years old but finally got serious when my wife went into the hospital in January of 1985 for leukemia treatment. I stayed with her in her room and had plenty of time to practice drawing, that is when I developed my style. I'm primarily a pen and ink artist. Later I started taking classes in oils, acrylics, some watercolor and colored pencil. I have been in art shows and have won some awards. Also, I have sold out of galleries and belong to Water Way Artists Guild and Seacoast Artists Guild."
