Dear Roots Crew,
March proved to be a special month as the CrossFit Open Thursday Night Throwdowns grew to epic numbers and CrossFit Roots hosted the LIVE broadcast of CrossFit Open workout 13.3.
A huge thank you to our volunteers and everyone that helped make the event a huge success. We've said it before,
but we'll say it again - we were honored to have been asked to host the event and were overwhelmed with excitement to see the Denver-area CrossFit community come together to cheer on Kristan Clever and Talayna Fortunato.

|Upcoming Events at Roots
April 1st - CrossFit Endurance Spring Training Program
Kick your Bolder Boulder training into high gear. The Spring Endurance Program runs April 1st through May 18th and meets Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 11:30-12:30. Sign Up HERE.
April 3rd - Get in the Zone Spring Fuel Challenge Informational Sessions, 6:30am and 6:30pm
Get in the Zone. This is a 30 day, no frills, Zone-based challenge. You've spent the last few food challenges working on eating quality food, now it's time to focus on quantity. The challenge runs April 15th to May 15th. It is required that you attend one of the two informational sessions to participate in the challenge. Read here for more details.
April 4th-22nd - Women's Only On-Ramp
The Women's Only Program On Ramp kicks off April 4th and meets Monday, Thursday, and Friday from 10:30-11:30am for 3 weeks. The cost is $150. Completion of the Women's Only On Ramp allows access to the Women's Only Program only, it does not grant access to CrossFit Roots group classes. Sign up HERE
April 7th - Roots In House Oly Meet, 10am
Athlete check-in and warm-up begin at 10am. Lifting begins at 11am. Registration is $20 and is open to members and non-members. This is the first of a two meet series. The second meet will be held on July 13th. Sign up HERE.
April 8-18th - Oly Foundations
Did the snatches in 13.1 slow you down? The cleans in 13.4 bring you to your knees? Oly Foundations may be just what you need to unlock the secret behind the Olympic Lifts. The 4 session course meets Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30-6:30pm and the cost is $100. Sign up HERE.
April 18th - Roots Free Class and Introductory Session, 6:30pm
Do you have a friend who wants to know more about CrossFit? Do you want to show your mom or significant other what you're up to 4 days a week? Bring them to the Roots Free Class and Introductory session. Email email@example.com to reserve a space.
Coming Thursdays - Roots Cool Cruel Summer Series
Spring has sprung and summer will be here before we know it! Mark your calendars early for the 2nd annual Cool Cruel Summer Benchmark Series coming at you LIVE from Roots the last Thursday of each month beginning in May.
CROSSFIT KIDS SUMMER PROGRAM
|1st Graders Through Teens|
Thank you to all the parents who took the time to reply to the CrossFit Kids survey. We received over 40 responses and have put the most requested times into action. Read below for the details on the summer CrossFit Kids Program at Roots.
The Teens program will be in the morning and details on this program will be posted soon.
CrossFit Kids Age Groups
Entering school grade for 2013-14 school year:
Group 1: 1st through 3rd graders
Group 2: 4th through 7th graders
Mondays and Fridays from 3:15-4:00pm
This is for both age groups. Age group classes will run concurrently.
Seven week program running June 10th through July 25th
Cost and Sign-up There are two sign-up options: punchcard and full program
$105 for 7 class punchcard*
$140 for 10 class punchcard*
$175 for access to all classes
*Punchcards expire at the completion of the program
$50 dollar sibling discount off total cost. Punchcards can not be shared between siblings.
With Spring Break and the Open going on, these folks really set the example! The following folks showed up at Roots 20 or more times in March. Way to go!
