Rauner Library Field Trip

Last week, Crossroads seventh graders visited the Rauner Library in Hanover, NH. There, students investigated historical memorabilia and related them to their recent classroom Core Knowledge units. Highlights included President John F. Kennedy's signature, Frost journal featuring the first line of "The Gift Outright", a manuscript of "The Gift Outright" on Dartmouth College stationary, Caleb Bingham's Columbian Orator (Frederick Douglass treasured this rhetoric textbook.), the first known draft of "Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening" enclosed in a handwritten letter and signed by Robert Frost, JFK inaugural medallion, and original block prints for You Come Too. We're so grateful to have the opportunity to see these bits of history first-hand!

Crossroads Hiring Process

Whenever Crossroads has open teaching positions, we post them on our school website and often post them on AISNE. We also send them to individuals with deep and wide connections to alumni networks of underrepresented applicants. Internal candidates are welcome to apply should they be interested and should their qualifications match the position. Just like admissions at Crossroads, word of mouth is our best advertising! If you know an individual who would be a good addition to our team, please send them our way!
