CAPA Good News!

Beya Places Third in Slalom Race

Fifth grader, Beya, placed third in the State Championship for Giant Slalom alpine ski race. She earned a spot on the NH State Team and competed at Gunstock last weekend in the USSA Eastern Regional Finals against teams from all over New England, NY, NJ and PA.  There, she placed sixteenth for Giant Slalom. Congratulations, Beya!

We love to hear what exciting things our students are up to outside of school. Please reach out to parentassociation@crossroadsacademy.org to share your good news!

Casella Calendar Art Contest

New Hampshire third graders were invited to participate in the annual Casella Calendar Art Contest. Artwork from thirteen NH students were chosen for the 2023 calendar. Artwork had to relate to the environment, recycling, waste reduction, landfills/trash and recycling trucks. This year, Cecilia's artwork was chosen for the calendar! The entire class worked diligently on this project and we are proud of all 14 of our students!

Coffee with Crossroads

Join head of school Dan Morrissey for a coffee and informal conversation in the Fanger Commons at 8:15 a.m. on Wednesday, March 30 and April 20.

Can't make it? Feel free to schedule a time to meet on campus with Dan here or make a plan to come to one of our next Coffee with Crossroads events.

March Madness: Beach Day!

Though the temperatures were not quite high enough for a dip in the ocean, we pretended they were, and donned our best sun hats, dresses, beach towels, sunglasses, and even some flip flops on our sunny spring day last week.

Don't forget to send your child(ren) in their comfiest PJ's on Wednesday for our last March Madness theme day!

Tick Check Reminder

With the milder weather, the students will be enjoying more time outside. Ticks have already been seen with the recent thaw. It is important to talk to your children about ticks and how they can help to check for them. Please make sure to include tick checks in your child’s daily routine.

Health Office Needs

COVID vaccines

If your child has received any of their COVID vaccines and you have not sent a copy to the health office, please send a copy of the card to the health office.

Extra Clothes

As the weather warms up and the grounds get muddier, please make sure that your child has an extra change of clothes to keep at school. The health office is also looking for spare sweatpants to have on hand.

ISO Baby Monitor

We are looking for a baby monitor to be used in the health office isolation room.

Planned Absence Reminder

Please remember to fill out a Planned Absence Form when your child(ren) will be out for an extended length of time. You may find the form here.
