Battle of Bound Brook Commemoration slated for April 10
On April 13, 1777, Lord Charles Cornwallis led 4000 British Crown troops in attack on a small American garrison in Bound Brook, where about 500 troops were commanded by General Benjamin Lincoln. The objective: surround the town, capture the garrison and provisions to gain a foothold.

This year, the Abraham Staats House hosts the 244th commemoration of the Battle of Bound Brook on April 10. The family friendly historic program, complete with reenactors, demonstrations and camp life has been planned to comply with state and local COVID guidelines. Limited, reservation-only tours of General von Steuben’s headquarters, the Abraham Staats House, will also be available. Make your reservations today through Eventbrite.

Visit the Abraham Staats House website for more information about the event and social distancing requirements to attend.
