Highlights
W elcome: A Fall Sermon Series
A new chapter at Crossroads… We've been preparing our church and ourselves to make room for and open our arms to each other and “what’s next.” As we welcome Pastor Susan into this community of faith, we will be challenged to show radical hospitality and the love of Christ to our neighbors. This fall sermon series runs September 15 - October 6.

Congregational Meeting on October 13
Session has called a brief Congregational Meeting for October 13, immediately following worship at Nine. The Nominating Committee will fill a vacant Elder position and present a slate of candidates to form an Associate Pastor Nominating Committee. Crossroads members are eligible to vote at that time.
Please consider donating your time working outside on the church grounds on Saturday, October 19 from 8:00 a.m. to noon. Lunch provided. Please bring rakes, gloves, and shovels. Sign up here or in the narthex, contact Dave Schigoda (262-242-3581) or call the church office. 
Giving Thanks Dinner on November 1

Worship
All orchestral instrumentalists from grade 7 through age 97 are welcome to rehearse on Thursday, October 10 at 7:00 p.m. Arrive at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday, October 13 to lead worship at Nine. Contact Todd O'Connor  ASAP to get the practice music.

Children
Fifth graders and their parents are invited to learn about Stewardship and Service, and participate in a hands-on service project. Workshop and dinner is Wednesday, October 16, 6:00–7:15 p.m. in the CLC, (childcare if needed). Service project is Saturday, October 19, 9:00–11:00 a.m. During worship on Sunday, October 20, participants will receive a special blessing. Contact: Shelly Lemminger
