Crosstown Connection April 2 - 8
Lent Lament- preparing for grace
โ€œGod understands loneliness, and Jesus experienced it. He provided us with a solution: A close and lasting relationship with God and a faith community.โ€... read more in our Alone. blog post.
Lent Giving Drive
This year's drive is supporting the Good in the 'Hood food shelf at Crosstown by adding cleaning items to the distribution. We have identified six items of need:

Toilet Cleaner | Laundry Detergent | Paper Towels
Dish Soap | Hand Sanitizer | All Purpose Spray

It helps with distribution to have "uniform" products. We will have samples of products displayed at church. Please purchase products that are similar in brand and size to those displayed at church. You can make a purchase off our Amazon Wish List or shop on your own. The food shelf serves 35-50 families, so this is our initial target collection amount. Questions? Contact the Community Caring Commission.
Financial gifts marked for "Lent Giving Drive" or "Food Shelf" will be used to purchase missing products and excess donated to Good in the 'Hood.

Crosstown Membership
Are you interested in knowing more about Crosstown and our heart to grow forward as Jesus' disciples? We invite you to take the next step by participating in our upcoming CORE class. This is a 4-week journey into the DNA of Crosstown and the larger Evangelical Covenant Church. We'll gather in person on four Sundays (April 10, 24, May 1, 8) @ 10:45 AM. Please contact Pastor John Jacobi, [email protected].
This one was named fairly quickly. Yes, it's the end of one of our large Sanctuary banners. How long have those banners been hanging? Before the formation of Crosstown? Long enough to leave a fade mark on the wood? We may never know.

Join us on Instagram or Facebook for our "Where's that located?" game! ๐Ÿง
On Monday we publish an up close and personal image of something on the church property and then see if you can name the item and where it's located. ๐Ÿค”
