Congregational Meeting- Oct 25 @ 11:00
|
Friends and family of Crosstown,
Please join us via Zoom for the October Congregational meeting on Sunday, October 25 @ 11 AM. We will have a chance to hear updates from our church staff on God's work in Crosstown's ministries. We are living in a changed world with COVID and you will hear how staff have responded in outreach. In addition, there will be a financial update from our Finance Commission. The Properties Commission will present a request for the possible replacement of the boiler. We need to keep the heat on, learn what the concern is, and what may need to be done. We look forward to seeing you online!

Friday Lunch Zoom Study- Nov 6
During these challenging days of the outbreak of Covid-19, many of us have felt the frustration of confinement and the sting of loss. The apostle Paul was not a stranger to these feelings as he penned his letter to the Philippians while under house arrest.
Join Kathy McGillivray for a discussion-oriented, inductive study of Philippians during the noon hour on three Fridays in November and two in December. Check the Crosstown app for the Zoom link and email Kathy at gilgal63@gmail.com with questions.

📱 💻 Communications Survey
As we move into winter, in-person gatherings are going to become increasingly more challenging. More of our discipleship will happen online and obviously more of our communication is already happening online. Being a part of the church is more than watching a Sunday worship service on TV. It's about community, discipleship, friendship, and walking through life's challenges together.
The office is exploring the idea of Social Ministry. What does it look like to not just use media for information and advertisement, but instead for engagement, spiritual growth, and community building?
This survey is to help the office better understand what is being utilized, how it's working, and hopefully how to better allocate our limited resources. If anyone is interested in helping with social media, communication, photography, videos, engagement posts, editing, graphic design... please contact Kristi. A team would be very helpful as we move forward.

The past few years they've started the first church and ministry, "Tal Como Soy", which is flourishing because of their hearts for young people. If you'd like to invest in this ministry with prayer/finances, please learn more here.
