On June 5th we will welcome the MN Adult & Teen Challenge Choir for worship. They will be returning to us in person.

In Crosstown tradition we would love to see your RED to celebrate.

Everyone is invited to share lunch together. BBQ sandwiches with summer sides is on the menu courtesy of the Worship Commission and Katie Berfeldt! Bethel will also be joining the meal. The meal will be held in the Commons with some limited seating available outside.

Adopt a Camper - June 5

Crosstown has 14 students heading up to Covenant Pines this summer. We would love to have volunteers send these students letters, emails, or care packages. This year's effort is being coordinated by Cara Hayes. Campers will be available for adoption this Sunday.

June 13-18 Flex Week Campers Include: Alex Ponce, Anders Larson, Elena Larson, Evan Berfeldt, Jack Ponce, Leo Inestroza, Loki Torkelson, Nils Torkelson, & Roman Inestroza

Perky Patty's short video blog is a humorous tutorial on waving AT your neighbors as they pass by instead of taking time to chat. Week two contained a number of action items. If you have completed ANY ONE of these action items we would love to hear from you. We are hoping to be able to share these stories at the completion of the series. This could be accomplished in whatever way you feel comfortable. You could write your story, record a selfie video, complete a video interview, share a faith story in person on Sunday morning or something else... we are open to working with you.

This is a time to specifically cover the service, volunteers, message, and guests in prayer. Everyone is welcome. The group's meeting place is fluid so look for the sign with the Prayer icon. Please feel free to step in and join in any way you feel comfortable.

We believe in the power of prayer! We gather to pray for each other, the congregation, the mission of the church, and local & global needs. Join us on Zoom as we seek God's face and pray for each other.

We have some exciting news to share about the Food Shelf. Our partner church, Trinity Lutheran, is helping to expand to two distribution sites. Starting in June the plan is to have one site at Crosstown and one mobile site that will drive to the Bossen apartments. The dates and times will stay the same but this means that we will need more volunteers. So if you would like to help on the 2nd or 4th Wednesday of the month the link is always in your newsletter. Parents, this is also a great service opportunity to do with your kids while they are home from school.

Arboretum Outing - June 16

Spend the day or the afternoon at MN Arboretum. We will plan to have everyone join in the 12:00 Tram Ride and enjoy lunch after as a group. If you would like to come earlier than 11:30 or stay after lunch you are welcome to do that. The anticipated cost of this outing is $20, but this may change with RSVPs. Lunch can be purchased at the Arboretum Café or you can bring a picnic lunch. There are also some carpool options if you need a ride.

Come join us at 5:00 for church family game night! Bring your favorite games and we'll enjoy some time together playing, laughing, and eating pizza! Invite your friends!

Please plan to bring $2-3 per person for pizza.

Sunday, June 12th we will celebrate our two graduating seniors. Congrats to Carter Olson and Maya Hartman!

Please speak with a leader in youth ministry if your middle schooler would like to attend MUUUCE, August 4-6. RSVP is due June 19th.

Congregational Meeting- June 26

After worship on Sunday, June 26th there will be a short Congregational meeting to affirm Aaron Berfeldt as Director of Worship Arts. Following 8+ months as our interim director and with the unanimous support of the Worship Search team, we thank the Lord Jesus for Aaron's willingness to serve.
