With sadness in our hearts we pass along the news that Josh Smith, Crosstown's Director of Worship Arts, has resigned his position. Josh's final day of ministry with us will be Sunday, August 29. Originally, Josh came to Crosstown as a newly minted college grad in 2011 and served until 2016. Josh returned to Crosstown in 2018 and we have been blessed by his ministry. In this last season we've shared in the joy of Carrie and Josh as they've welcomed two boys to their family! Now, we thank the Smiths for their time with us and pray God's blessing on their family. Josh will be serving at another church in the Twin Cities.

Special Congregational Meeting after the service in person and on Zoom.

The purpose of this scholarship is to encourage faith-filled members of Crosstown to pursue careers in the field of medicine. This includes doctors, nurses, physician’s assistants, nursing assistants, psychiatrists, and other caregivers. This scholarship is for education of current practitioners as well as those currently enrolled in a career in medicine. Application deadline is July 31, 2021, with the scholarship being awarded in August 2021. Applications and guidelines are available upon request. Please contact Mike Anderson at mike-anderson@outlook.com or by phone at 952-250-7689.

Hey high schoolers, join Angie and Cory for a round of mini golf and a sweet treat. Meet us at Veterans Park at 4:00pm in Richfield.

Bring $9 to pay for admission. Youth Ministry will cover the cost of ice cream.

In August we will be offering a parenting class Wednesday nights on Zoom. This class will explore Biblical teaching and share wisdom on how to talk with your children about sex and gender. Check out the curriculum here and the intro video. Please RSVP to Angie and use the youth calendar or app for your Zoom links. Parents and grandparents of all ages are welcome.

This week the weather was less than cooperative for food distribution so NENA retreated to the Crosstown gym. There are still many more dates that you can step in to help.

Did you know that Elders, Deacons, and Staff meet once a month to pray on Zoom? In these fluctuating times and time of Adaptive Leadership discernment, it is important for leadership to stay spiritually connected. Please continue to pray for our church leadership, both volunteer and paid.

Rosemary Kolesar completed her time on this earth yesterday. At 88 years old she graduated to her heavenly home. At this time we do not have any details about a service.
