Prayer Vigil & Service - Jan 7 and 8

It's not too late to sign up for a prayer slot for the prayer vigil. We are especially in need of early Saturday AM warriors.

New this year we are adding a Vespers Service Friday night at 7:00pm. This hour of music and corporate prayer will go hand in hand with the 24-hour prayer vigil. This is a wonderful opportunity to spiritually prepare yourself for the year ahead.

This will be a special Sunday of dedication, a time to give thanks for the newly updated Sanctuary. We will recommit our work to the Lord both individually and as a congregation.

Praying for a New Director of Worship Arts

This week, as we continue to pray faithfully for God to show us HIS person for our new Director of Worship Arts, let's pray from Psalm 27:7-8

Hear me as I pray, O Lord.

Be merciful and answer me!

My heart has heard you say, "Come and talk with me."

And my heart responds, "Lord, I am coming."

Please be praying that God's person for Crosstown would have Christ-like humility, a loving heart for Jesus and people of all ages, is able listen to others & follow the Holy Spirit's leading, and would hear God's call to lead us in worship. Amen.

Wednesday Noon Zoom Prayer Gatherings

In 2020 we started praying on zoom with Polly. This effort has continued and is always open to you. Join whenever is convenient for you. Links are on the website here and in your app under prayer.

Sadness and Sorrow: Our friend and sister in Jesus, Ruth Stembridge, passed away on Wednesday, December 29. We thank God for Ruth's life and ministry as Jesus' disciple. She and Dick shared life in marriage for 59+ years.

The Celebration of Life service will be Saturday, January 15th at 11:00am. Friends are welcome to attend at Crosstown with a facemask or are invited to join on the livestream.

Congratulations to our sister church Verbo en Accion Covenant as they celebrate 15 years of discipleship, fellowship, retreats, and an abundance of good food!
