Prayer Gathering- July 26
On behalf on the Elders, I would like to invite you to participate in the prayer session as Crosstown prepares for return to in-person worship on August 2nd. We will be holding a prayer gathering on Sunday the 26th at 10:00 AM. (There will be not be an 11:00 option).
You can join us at church or in the comfort of your home via Zoom. Please note that the sound on Zoom may be limited due to mask usage. If you plan to attend in person, please sign up, as space will be limited to 2 groups of 9 people. This is due to our small group meeting safety protocol for COVID-19. You will be required to wear a face covering in the building. Masks are available at church for those who need one.
We will spend 45 minutes praying for our church, staff, programming, and community. I do hope you will join us and look forward to seeing you, whether in person or over the computer.

Crosstown welcomes Erick Abramson & family back to the U.S.! 
This Sunday, July 26, we'll be hearing from Erick Abramson in an interview with Pastor John. Erick, Bethany and their three children recently completed a 3-year term of service in Sosdala, Sweden through the Evangelical Covenant Church. It has been our privilege to support the Abramsons with prayer and financial support. On Sunday we'll be blessed to hear an update from Erick regarding their ministry among Syrian refugees as well as Swedish friends. In addition, Erick will be sharing with us from God's Word! You don't want to miss Crosstown online this coming Sunday!!!
Bridal Shower- Aug 15
Kyla Fischer, daughter of Jim & Deena, is getting married in September. Samantha Buchanan, Kari Wheeler Young and Lynette Wheeler invite you to a bridal shower to celebrate!

Join us Aug 15 from 11:00a-1:00p at 6229 Morgan Ave Richfield. Because of the times, we will be trying to do this very carefully. The event will be outside and you can stop by to visit or opt to drive by where Kyla will chat from a distance. A light lunch will be available.

We are completing our first week of VBS and we have one more week to go. There is still room at the Richfield location for VBS July 27-30 at 10:00. We would love to see your kiddos there. Please contact Polly if you have questions.
It is with great sadness that we share the news that Jimmy Lindahl has lost his battle with cancer. He passed into the arms of Jesus Wednesday, July 22nd. We are thankful for his humor, extraordinary children's ministry at church and with MOPS, geezer service, vigilant monitoring of our recycling, and so much more.
At this time no arrangements are available to be communicated.
We are excited to announce that in August we will be moving to Phase 3 of reopening the building. This will increase the size of groups allowed to use the building and initiate Sunday worship IN PERSON at 9:15am. Please watch the video with your family to find out what to expect on a Sunday morning.
You will continue to be able to watch the service at home, but it will no longer be prerecorded and edited. The service will be available at 9:15am on YouTube and anytime after that as a live recording of the service from the back of the Sanctuary.
The " Reopening Plan Phase 3 " explains Sunday's requirements, but other uses of the building are also being expanded.
Space Reservation at Crosstown
In Phase 3 larger groups will be allowed to gathering in the building. However ALL events/ gatherings/ meetings need to complete a reservation form. Events for more than 25 people will require an additional pre-approval process.
Wood Chipper Needed
Marcia is looking for assistance dealing with some branches in the church yard. She is looking for a wood chipper. However, if one can't be located a volunteer to cut up the branches would be valuable, too.
