Lent Lament- preparing for grace
“The American church avoids lament…this results in a serious deficiency in which we forget the necessity of lamenting over suffering and pain.”... read more in our Darkness! blog post.
What is a kistka? Glad you asked....
Ukrainian Egg Decorating- April 1
Bonnie Overcott is going to teach us the art of Ukrainian Egg Decorating. More information about the cost, RSVP method, tools, and history of this tradition is in this google doc. All ages and skill levels are welcome but RSVP is needed!
Lent Giving Drive
This year's drive is supporting the Good in the 'Hood food shelf at Crosstown by adding cleaning items to the distribution. We have identified six times of need:

Toilet Cleaner | Laundry Detergent | Paper Towels
Dish Soap | Hand Sanitizer | All Purpose Spray

It helps with distribution to have "uniform" products. We will have samples of products displayed at church. Please purchase products that are similar in brand and size to those displayed. You can make a purchase off our Amazon Wish List or shop on your own. The food shelf serves 35-50 families so this is our initial target collection amount. Questions? Contact the Community Caring Commission.

Thought this one would be easy... apparently not. Yes, it's round. Yes, it's a wheel. It can be found on our complementary wheel chair waiting at our handicapped entrance.

Join us on Instagram or Facebook for our "Where's that located?" game! 🧐
On Monday we publish an up close and personal image of something on the church property and then see if you can name the item and where it's located. 🤔
