Back 2 the Building - 5/23
The last time we were all together in the church building was March 7. I’m sure that none of us thought we would be in this environment two months later.
God is still with us
I have spent a lot of time praying that everyone is safe and healthy. I am sure God is helping you navigate through all the new adjustments socially, mentally, spiritually, emotionally, physically, and financially. To help during this challenging time, Centennial Church, the group from which we rent, has given us a three month discount on rent. I also want to say thank you for supporting Crosswalk members with your prayers and offerings.
Permission to re-open
The state of Texas, along with Collin County and the city of Frisco are allowing churches to reopen! So the Texas Seventh-day Adventist Conference leadership is inviting members to prayerfully and wisely step in that direction.  As a Christian church, obviously our top priority is to help people in all areas of life. So we designed a flexible regathering process that takes into account government, conference, and local guidelines. We will also prayerfully and thoughtfully evaluate as we continually go through the transition process. May 23 rd Crosswalk Fellowship will re-open our in person worship service.
Sanitizing concerns
The building interior is cleaned on a regular basis. With the heightened concern regarding Covid-19, Centennial church has done even more deep cleaning. If you have concerns regarding a face covering, feel free to bring your own mask from home & wear it. There are currently two hand sanitizers in the foyer and we will supply two more. When we start our Sabbath School classes in Phase 2, we will provide additional hand sanitizers for every room. But please keep in mind; the best prevention to eliminate the spread of any virus is to make sure you do your part.
Re-opening - 3 Phase Plan
The plan is to return to the building in 3 Phases. Below are the Phase 1 steps Crosswalk Fellowship will take as we prayerfully re-open and continue our journey of growing closer to each other and God. The remaining phases will be shared as we move through each current phase and before we proceed to the next stage. During any phase, if Covid-19 cases develop within Crosswalk Fellowship, we will re-close church for 2-3 weeks.

As we come together please be respectful, patient, and understanding because everyone’s personal space is different.  If you have any questions or concerns, please let me know. My email is listed below. Also, plan on attending the all church Back 2 the Building Zoom call. Look for more on that later.

Sincerely,
Pastor Marc
I was glad when they said to me,
“Let us go into the house of the Lord.”
Psalm 122:1 (NKJV)
PHASE 1
  • Crosswalk will open for worship service ONLY (i.e. 9:50 a.m. – 11:30)
  • Tape lines will be in place to help the flow in & out of sanctuary.
  • Vulnerable members are encouraged to remain home & enjoy the worship service online that Crosswalk has been providing for years and will continue to provide. It's up to you to decide if you or someone under your care falls into this category.
  • If you are sick or have been exposed to someone who has been ill, please watch the worship service online for at least 2 Saturdays following the illness.
  • We will resume the 9:50 a.m. prayer circle, as we stand 6 feet apart.
  • There will be no meet and greet time during worship service.
  • Live music & live kids story will continue as much as available.
  • Families will sit together. People that came together may chose to sit together. All others we will encourage to sit 3 seats away (6 feet) from others during worship service.
  • All doors remain locked except sanctuary, bathrooms (the layout still gives 100% privacy), and mothers' room.
  • Children must stay with family inside building & family member must accompany them to the bathroom. Playground is closed (we never need running inside).
  • Please provide your own mask if you are more comfortable wearing one to church.
  • Pastor Marc and elder on duty (with social distance) will dismiss by rows starting at back. We ask if you want to remain and socialize that you do it outside, away from the doors so those who want to maintain more distance or leave may do so freely.
  • Communication cards & tithe envelopes along with a container to collect them will be on black desk in foyer.
