Like Coffee?
Everyone enjoys having a treat and a cup of coffee with their friends on Sunday mornings, but we can’t offer this ministry of fellowship without people to host the coffee hour. While we could use more volunteers in lots of ministry areas, we’re especially in need of extra Coffee Hosts. If you’ve never volunteered in this area before, we will train you in everything you need to know. Sign up at the Welcome Center.

Hospital Visitation
If you or someone you know will be hospitalized and would like a visit from a pastor, please reach out directly to the church office or one of the pastors. HIPAA confidentiality laws prohibit hospitals from sharing patient information.

The Prayer Chain
If you would like to participate in praying for our members and friends, please talk with Pastor Tom or Pastor Stephanie. If you would like to request prayer from our Prayer Chain, contact Brenda in the church office or talk with one of our pastors. Please indicate if you would like your prayer request to be shared with the congregation, or if it is confidential. For those needing our prayers, any member of the congregation can request a prayer shawl for themselves, friends or family. Please contact Bonnie Welshons or Brenda in the church office to obtain a prayer shawl and the pamphlet that goes with it.

Scam Alerts!
If you get an email or text message from church staff asking to purchase gift cards or to do a favor, DO NOT respond to them. Block and delete them immediately. No one at St. Barnabas will ever ask you to do this. If
communication feels "off" it probably is. Call the church or email a known address to confirm if you're unsure. Email Scams! St. Barnabas staff will ONLY use their church email address when reaching out to members:
(example: pastortom@stbarnabaslutheran.org; brenda@stbarnabaslutheran.org).

OWLs Event ~ April 11th
The Plymouth Rockers performed for an hour here at St. Barnabas this past Tuesday and they were fantastic. They really appreciated being able to have treats and drinks with the attendees after their performance...that's something that is rarely ever offered to them when they perform. We also got many compliments on how pretty the table looked with all the spring treats.

San Pablos Quilters Group ~ March 29th
Some of the St. Barnabas quilters met with the quilt group at San Pablo. Their pastor had given them 4 chausibles to use for quilting. They were so pretty that we collectively decided they should become banners as a surprise for the pastor. Jeanette Wedin took on the task of transforming them into banners.
They turned out beautifully and we cannot wait to see them hung in their church! Thank you Jeanette!!
