A Special Congregational Meeting will be held on Sunday, March 1, 9:35 am (after 8:30 am worship service). At this meeting, the St. Barnabas church council and call committee will present information on the candidate they have approved for the position of Lead Pastor. A vote for congregational approval of the candidate will be held at the end of the presentation.

Bryce also invites St. Barnabas friends to celebrate his Ordination Service on Saturday, March 28th at Sharon Lutheran Church, Grand Forks ND, time TBD, likely mid-afternoon. Thank you for your ministry with us Bryce! God’s richest blessings on your new position as a pastor in Champlin!

Lenten Soup Suppers

Pause for Lent: Midweek Mindfulness & Prayer

Come take a peaceful pause during this Lenten season. Beginning February 25th, join us each Wednesday at 4:30pm in the Family Resource Center for a simple, guided time of mindfulness and prayer inspired by the weekly Lenten theme. Led by Melissa Weinhandl, this gathering is a chance to slow down, reflect, and reconnect before dinner. No sign-up is needed, just come as you are. All are welcome.

Funeral for Mary Pestel

Mary's funeral will be here at St. Barnabas on Friday, February 27th at 11am (visitation at 10am), followed by a luncheon.

February "Gift of Love"

Global Health Ministries

Global Health Ministries (GHM) is an independent Lutheran nonprofit (501c3) established in 1987, and specializes in capacity-building for Lutheran health systems in under-resourced countries, serving some of the most vulnerable people in the world. We believe all people should have access to a healthy life. But they don’t. Together we can make a difference. Each year thousands of volunteers gather in our Minnesota-based warehouse to help sort and pack medical equipment and supplies to share around the world. At the request of our international partners we also

offer grants and volunteer consultants to help build their capacity to move the needle on health in their communities and effect sustainable and enduring change.
