Other News & Church Activities

Missing Coat

Bonnie Welshons is STILL missing her coat that she wore to church on Sunday, March 1st. It's a black Michael Kors, puffer style, knee length, hooded and there was a pair of black gloves in the pocket. If you took this coat by mistake, please bring it back to church and hang it in the front coat closet.

NOTE: It's possible that it could be a woman that came for the congregation meeting that day. If you know who this might be, please contact her.

Poverty Simulation at Mount Olivet

On Sunday, March 22, from 12pm - 2:45pm, the Mount Olivet Housing Team, with the MORE Team, is hosting a Poverty Simulation through Urban Ventures.

If you missed our own Global Village experience last year, this might be of interest.

Cost for lunch is $10. You can sign up here.

Beet Cake for Bryce

In a recent children’s sermon, Bryce had talked about putting things that don’t ordinarily go together and had the kids think of what goes in a cake. Bryce brought out a jar of beet pickles to add to a chocolate cake recipe. Linda Eckman decided to bake a chocolate beet cake to share for Bryce’s last Shepherd's meeting.
