Other News & Church Activities

Bryce's Ordination Service

Bryce invites St. Barnabas friends to celebrate his Ordination Service tomorrow (March 28th) at Sharon Lutheran Church in Grand Forks, ND at 3pm. To watch the livestream click here.

Following are a few pictures from Bryce's last day at St. Barnabas.

CARS. TRAINS AND BUSES

Ruth is the young woman from Venezuela that St. Barnabas has sponsored as she migrated from there to the United States. She is recovering from her trauma of being detained and being separated from her 6 year old son. She is moving forward. She has gotten her green card which is the next step in applying for citizenship. She has a good job at a reputable day care center. Her son is in kindergarten and she is studying for her Learner’s Permit. And it would be so helpful for her have a car! Not a fancy one - just one that is safe and reliable.

Do any of you have a car that you are thinking of giving away or selling at a very small price? Or do you know of anyone who might be considering either of those options? What a wonderful gift that would be for Ruth and her son!

On behalf of the mentoring group that has worked to help Ruth become a productive and happy citizen here, we hope you will consider this request. Thank you.

Margaret Wold

P.S. We are not actually looking for trains and buses. Just one car.
