Church Council Retreat
Today, May 15th and Saturday, May 16th the Church Council will have their first council retreat with Pastor Mark. Please keep them in your prayers as they look with joy into the future to unearth God's plans for our congregation. With a packed agenda, they will pray, dream, and learn a little more about each other and what Pastor Mark calls his "Four 'I' words: Intentional, Invitational, Incarnational, and Inspirational."

New Front Door Access System
We have a new front and side door access system installed with electronic locks, video intercoms, and designated access capabilities. This upgrade will allow for a more secure building and greater flexibility to manage access to the building during daily programs and after-hours events.
The system has remote locking and unlocking capabilities for the doors and the flexibility to allow multiple groups programable access and security across specific days and times. The ADA pushbutton access remains operational, and the new systems will be fully integrated into our current alarm capabilities.
We will provide access training to those affected and additional information once the system is completely installed at both door locations.
All currently scheduled groups will have access to the building at their assigned time, and the system will now AUTO-LOCK the doors during the last scheduled event of the day.
Qué Tal has partnered with St. Barnabas to pay for 50% of the overall cost and we are excited for the new capabilities and security this access system will provide.

Church Directory Deadline this Sunday
For those of you who haven't made any updates or changes, it's very important that we have the correct contact information for our members. Now that we have a new pastor, it’s extra important to have pictures in the directory so that he’s able to get to know everyone’s faces.
Please let us know if any of the following pertain to you:
· You don’t have a picture in the directory and would like one added
· You want your existing picture updated (kids are older, etc.)
· You moved and have a new home address
· You have a new email address
· You have a new mobile phone number
· You no longer have a landline phone
There's still time to email pictures to Brenda in the church office brenda@stbarnabaslutheran.org.
