WALK THE PARK - Connect with Neighbors and hear from the Chair of the Parks and Recreation Commission for Richardson on Saturday, March 15, 2025 at 9 am

Nancy Crowe (PT, MS) is a Physical Therapist and Healthcare Executive with over 40 years of experience. She served as Chief Operating Officer of a Dallas Home Health and Hospice Agency where she

oversaw home health, hospice, long-term care, and rehabilitation, for 5 offices, serving 9 counties.

Nancy received her Master of Science degree from Texas Woman’s University where she also graduated Summa Cum Laude in Physical Therapy. She has served as adjunct faculty for university physical therapy programs in Texas as well as treated numerous patients with neurological and orthopedic involvement.

She currently serves as Chair of the Parks and Recreation Commission for the City of Richardson and is active in other volunteer activities in her church and the community.

NOTE: Nancy is the Civics & Environmental Chair of the CPNA!

Are you interested in meeting more of your neighbors and helping the CPNA foster community spirit? We are always looking for new committee members and volunteers for our events and committees. Please get in touch via cpna75082@gmail.com or attend a CPNA Board Meeting to get information on how to get involved:

Secretary - The Secretary shall keep the records of the meetings and the work of the Association. The Secretary shall take minutes of all membership meetings and act as Secretary of the Board of Directors.
Social Chair - This committee will recommend and plan social functions for the General Membership within the budget set by the Board
We also need a Communications Chair, Flag Program Volunteers, Crime Watch Patrol Volunteers

The next CPNA Board Meeting is set for Tuesday, March 18, 2025 from 6 pm to 7:30 pm. Please reach out in advance cpna75082@gmail.com to get location details.

Saturday, March 15, 2025	Walk the Park	9 am at the South Pavilion Annual community walk around the park with opening remarks from an invited speaker.
Saturday, April 19, 2025	International Potluck	2 pm - 4 pm at the North Pavilion Annual neighborhood potluck.
Friday, July 4, 2025	July 4th Parade	Please save the date. Community walk from Pond to North Pavilion.
Friday, August 22, 2025	Membership Drive Event	Ice Cream Social Details to follow later in the year.

COMMUNITY REQUEST

Calling All Board and/or Card Game Enthusiasts

Have you been looking for a group of friends that like to play board games. I am trying to put together a group that could meet maybe once a month to play different games. It would be a great way to meet neighbors that share a common interest. We might start out small, but I bet we will grow.
