RELEASING Number 1 and 2 of THE ROOT PALATTE SERIES
The Real Nancy Drew Roots
My mother would be in such a flow while also raising babies, making art, building 5 national retail stores, getting featured in Metropolitan Home magazine, she would often leave paint that would dry and look like artificial paint candy. She moves through life like that. One global canvas.
The texture and glossy plastic lives on in my palettes. It is part of my root system. Every woman artist making a creative life, while raising children and sowing seeds of plastic paint and permission. My roots. Everything from the dried paint to the child she raised..to the palette in my studio in my home in Indiana, all the art that hangs in the minds of those women and on the walls of permission and possibility. Woman's art that will hang on the walls of MOMA has beautiful roots. Of divine creativity. The ability to see possibility in everything and everyone.
Crown On from my roots. Crown On For Yours.
