Dear Friends in Christ,
Since the previous update, the Crown of Glory COVID-19 Task Force has continued to meet regularly to discern building use, keeping the safety and care for people of all ages as a main focus. Effective immediately, the Task Force is announcing the lifting of the following COVID-19 restrictions for indoor building use:
1) Masks are no longer required for indoor use.
- The removal of the mask mandate applies to all member ministry groups and “non-member” groups that use the building, including Preschool Place staff and families, and the DS West Driving School staff and students.
Please note: Those who are not fully vaccinated are asked to continue to wear a mask while indoors. Fully vaccinated members and guests are welcome to wear a mask if they choose. Masks will continue to be provided at the North entrance of the building.
2) Crown of Glory will no longer require pre-registration for worship services.
3) There will no longer be restrictions on the serving and consumption of food and drinks indoors. The church kitchen will be re-opened for use.
For Holy Communion, Crown of Glory will continue to serve individual cups of wine/juice and wafers for the foreseeable future. Returning to the practice of “intinction” will be reviewed at a later date.
The COVID-19 Task Force offers each of you a sincere thanks for your patience and for adhering to the guidelines that were set before you during the pandemic. As we now move away from these restrictions, our hope is become an even more welcoming and hospitable place for all of God’s people.
