Connect Lesson, 6:00 - 7:00 p.m., 5/1: Occupation

SPARK Lesson, 4/27-4/28: Doubting Thomas: The faith of Thomas is in formation with the rest of the disciples after the resurrection of Jesus seems too good to be true. The good news is God comes to us and for us and is not stopped, not even by death. Alleluia! John 20:19-31.

Confirmation and Connect families serve at FMSC

Thank you for the great outpouring of love and effort of the Connect and Confirmation students, guides, and chaperones! Together we packed 71 boxes of food on Wednesday 4/24 to be sent to Belize, feeding 42 children for a year! We also donated $610!
Thank you for the anonymous donations of toys, crayons, books, and coloring sheets to share the story of Noah’s Ark!
I look forward to sharing these with our SPARK students.

Thank you for your partnership in the gospel!

Announcing a Special
Congregational Meeting
The Crown of Glory Lutheran Church Council has scheduled a congregational meeting for Sunday, May 12, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. to consider a proposal from PulteGroup regarding a portion of the church property. All members are encouraged to attend. Details of this meeting will be mailed to each member's home.
Crown of Glory's Landscape Committee invites you to Adopt-A-Garden!
Be a part of making the church beautiful and inviting by
adopting a small garden or planter and caring for it on your
own schedule. We are looking for people to purchase, plant,
water, and maintain annuals for the beds and planters
outside of the church. We will make it easy for you by
choosing the plants and helping with any guidance needed.

If you’d like to participate but are only interested in part of the project-funding, planting, or maintaining, we will gladly welcome your participation in that way as well.

Anyone interested, please contact Sherri Eriksrud at 612-760-1766 or email at seriksrud@bachmans.com.

Wednesday Evening Dinner Team Seeks New Leadership Team
For the past two years, a small but mighty team of volunteers has been diligently working to plan, prepare, and serve dinners on Wednesday evenings for the Crown of Glory congregation. This year alone, more than 2,420 individuals have come through the line for a tasty, nutritious meal.
The leadership team responsible for this ministry includes Julie Youngman, Dena Schulz, Kate Campbell, Kirsten Segar, Sandi Rue, Betty Larson, and Allison Larson. They've each volunteered many hours to support successful Wednesday night events, working closely with confirmation students and their parents who have served and cleaned up after each dinner. Thanks to all of them and to everyone who has come to enjoy a meal and fellowship!
The current team will be stepping down from leading the efforts next month (after the final meal of the year is served in mid-May). We are currently seeking new volunteers who will assume leadership responsibility when meals begin again in the fall. The current team has set up an organized and thorough process that will be helpful to the new team, and they will be available to provide initial support and training.
If you are interested in leading or serving on a team to support this ministry, please contact Pastor Reggie .
