Thank You River City Days Volunteers!
Thank you to those church members who volunteered at this year’s River City Days. Our booth was bustling with activity and looked inviting and family friendly. This event is just one of the many ways we stay connected to our community and welcome potential newcomers to our church family. Also a shout out to our Knitters and Knotters Ministries who donated prayer scarves and quilts for the booth raffle - thank you all!

Carver County Invites Creation Care Team to Arboretum!
On July 23, Carver County hosted a meeting on environmental practices and education at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum. Attendees included those representing school, industry, business, horticulture, agriculture, water, city and the faith community. CoG member, Jackie Jiran, represented the faith community and our Creation Care Team.
The focus of the meeting was to share current practices with waste, energy, and water and make connections with others. The county recognizes the great work CoG has done both on its own and with the $4000 in grant money to date. Creation Care and CoG are committed to being good stewards of our earth through our mission: Crown of Glory is committed to protecting, advocating and implementing practices that protect God’s creation for future generations.

Look for more environmental outreach and events from Creation Care and our new community partners throughout the year. Check out our website for initiatives and to learn how you can help the earth.
