SPARK Lesson: "The Transfiguration"
This Sunday, Pastor Reggie will read Mark 9:2-9 from the SPARK Story Bible. Be sure to have yours with you and follow along with him! We will hear about how Jesus was transfigured, what that means, and how Lent can “transfigure” our hearts. Pastor Reggie will also highlight why we “bury” our Alleluias and what that means for us for the Lenten season!
Nursery Nuggets
Hi Nursery Buddies and Parents!

We are continuing our dive into the different kinds of love: this week, it is friendship love! What does it mean to be Jesus’ friend? We know he is a great friend to us. So, how are we a friend back? Surely, we do not want him in our lives only for what he can do for us, but instead to be in a relationship with him where love is shown on both sides!

Through prayer and showing love to others we are keeping are relationship with Jesus strong. Here is an idea that is fun and a great reminder to pray: make a paper prayer chain! Take construction paper (or any kind of paper) and cut into strips. On your first strip write: “Dear Jesus, thank you for being in my life.” Then, on each piece of paper after that you have a prayer. You can write or draw a picture of your prayer and add it to your prayer chain. Hang your prayer chain where you can see it every day and see how your relationship with Jesus grows with every prayer!

Virtual Choir: Sunday, February 21
The Chancel Choir has been working on a virtual choir piece! Members learned their parts on their own, then recorded themselves singing. Dan Rue compiled them into one beautiful video that will be shared at the Offering on Sunday, February 21. Tune into streamed worship at 9:30 a.m. to hear Be Still and Know by Michael John Trotta.

Many thanks to Dan Rue and Pastor Laura Laughlin for their technical assistance.
