It's Reformation Weekend - We Wear Red In Honor and Celebration
This weekend we celebrate Martin Luther's posting of his 95 Theses onto the door of All Saints Church. His action sparked the Reformation and challenged the claim that entrance into heaven could only be bought with money. Reformation Weekend is observed by the red Sanctuary linens; members and guests are encouraged to wear red as well.

Welcome Pastor Kristie!
It is with much joy that we welcome Interim Associate Pastor Kristie Hennig to Crown of Glory this week. She has been a practicing pastor for 15 years and is a Seminary classmate of Pastor Reggie's. Over the next few weeks she will be getting familiar with all of our ministries and membership and begin to assist Pastor Reggie with pastoral duties. Her office days are Tuesday-Thursday. Pastor Kristie lives nearby in Chanhassen. When not working, she likes to spend with her grandson and family. Please offer a warm welcome to Pastor Kristie when you have the opportunity!

Quilt Sale To Benefit
Floor Fund Challenge
The Failthful Knotters will be displaying and selling quilts this weekend, October 27 & 28. Proceeds from the sale will go towards the Floor Fund Challenge. A minimum donation of $50 per quilt is suggested.

These beautifully made quilts make great gifts for anyone. Christmas is just around the corner, shop early and get a gift for that special someone now while helping reach our floor fund goal.
Calling a Call Commitee
Now that the Sr. Pastor and Interim Associate Pastor positions are filled, it's time to establish the Call Committee for the Associate Pastor position. The goal is to have a demographically-diverse team. The Constitution calls for 6-8 people for a call committee, so positions are limited and some have already expressed an interest to serve. This is a great opportunity for recently confirmed youth to help position Crown of Glory for the future. If you are interested in serving on this committee, please contact Mary Leopold, mary.l.leopold@gmail.com.

Kitchen Essentials Ministry--Celebrating Family Meals
Since beginning this ministry in August, Crown of Glory has assisted eight families with basic kitchen items for their homes . During November, families gather and give thanks for the blessings received throughout the year. To help local families make their upcoming holiday celebrations special, CoG is focusing on collecting new or gently used sets of dishes and silverware. Gift cards to Target, Walmart and Kohl’s are also greatly appreciated. Thank you for your support during the holidays and year-round. You can make a difference in someone's life. Please contact Tracy Cunningham at 952-239-9344 if you have any questions or are interested in volunteering.
