In the spirit of “all God’s creatures having a place in the choir,” CoG will be hosting its first ever Blessing of the Animals service on Saturday, October 3, at 5:00 p.m.! Plan to come with your pet(s), or a picture of a pet who has died, for a short blessing service outside in the CoG parking lot. Registration and following CDC guidelines required, and all pets must be leashed or in a crate. More details to come in a few weeks! Questions? Contact Pastor Laura.
Sanctuary Chair Update
The old sanctuary chairs have been sold to a start-up church in St. Paul! Many thanks to Kathy Tinker for organizing the sale. Thank you to Larry Balfanz, Dave Delforge, Tom Paulson and Kellie Bokusky for prepping, stacking and moving the chairs.
Masks For Music Ministry Fundraiser
We are selling homemade cloth masks to raise funds to purchase outdoor sound equipment. Thanks to your support, we have raised almost $1,000 and have been able to purchase new microphone cords, two new speakers, and an outdoor soundboard!

Need a new mask during this pandemic time? Try one of ours, carefully made by our Faith Knotters! Each mask has an elastic band so there are no strings to tie. There are sizes for adults and children with some of your favorite colors and patterns - see examples below! Purchase one for everyone in your family to help support a good cause. Please click here to fill out the order form.

Masks will be available for pick up during outdoor worship on Rally Sunday, September 13.  The cost of each mask is $5.00. For more information about this fundraiser please contact Pastor Reggie. Thank you!

Nursery Nuggets
Hi Nursery Buddies and Parents!

We will be running through a review of the three verses we have been playing games with over the summer. Do you remember what they are?

“We love, because He first loved us.” 1 John 4:19

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart.” Proverbs 3:5

“Do not be afraid for I am with you.” Isaiah 43:5

These are really great verses to carry around with you in your heart and mind just for everyday kind of situations. To help you keep working on remembering, and to take these with you, I have created a page of bookmarks that can be printed out. You can color them any way you like!
