The King's Ball 2019
NEW IBERIA, La. --- On Fri., Oct. 4 2019, La Asociación Española de Nueva Iberia and the City of New Iberia will host its 4th Annual Spanish Festival King’s Ball from 7-10 p.m. at the Cyr Gates Community Center (300 Parkview Dr., New Iberia,).

The Spanish Festival Association and Board of Directors would like to invite you and your family to join us for this cultural celebration. This event is a fundraiser for El Festival Español de Nueva Iberia to be held April 17 - 19, 2020.

At 7:30 p.m., the royalty presentation will commence and the crowning of the Spanish King IV will take place. The event will feature music by The Cast.

Tapas and a cash bar will be available serving sangria, margaritas and beer. The attire is formal/semi-formal and jeans are not allowed.

LAENI is a nonprofit, volunteer organization incorporated in the City of New Iberia to serve as a vehicle for the recognition and promotion of the Spanish ancestry and culture in New Iberia and throughout Louisiana. LAENI, Inc. encourages, supports and directs programs and activities involving educational, culinary, music, and art exchanges while creating an awareness and deeper understanding of our local Spanish heritage. LAENI’s main focus and mission is to celebrate the 1779 founding of New Iberia by 16 Spanish families from Malaga, Spain; Gary, Romero, Prados, Segura, Migues, Viator, & Lopez.
