Hello my friends! I am just back from cruising the Polynesian Islands, New Zealand and Australia on board Queen Elizabeth as Cunard Artist in Residence.

I was working very hard teaching two classes per day of up to 30 students each so don't be too jealous! Many people say 'You are so lucky' and I acknowledge that but I do work very hard as well, albeit in some really lovely locations! 

I will soon be flying to the USA to teach in Santa Barbara, Carmel, Boston, and be a featured presenter at the Plein Air Convention in Monterey, California. I hope you will join me as my courses are filling quickly but there are a couple places left in each one so its not too late to join me!

A pod of about 20-30 dolphins were jumping and playing alongside our ship on the way out of Bay of Islands and I was lucky to capture this friendly guy that kept escorting us for a long while out of New Zealand waters. 
A huge storm approaching over Devonport, New Zealand~ it was beautiful but it really dumped on us in a couple of minutes after I snapped this pic!

So EXCITED to be a presenter at the Plein Air Convention in Monterey California in April 2015! It is a huge honour and I will love contributing to this great event with so many of my painting colleagues and heroes!!
