Dear St. Anne Catholic School Families,
It’s been an amazing start to the new school year! I’m thrilled to see how quickly the students have settled into their routines and have begun to engage in their class activities. Students have spent the week getting to know one another, rekindling friendships, and making new friends. Classroom expectations have been set and students have started to dive into the curriculum. I encourage you to ask your child about what they’ve learned and what they’re most excited about in school.
Looking ahead to next week, kindergarten through 8th grade will attend mass on Wednesday, as always parents are invited to join us. On Thursday evening, we will have Early Childhood and Elementary Parent Information Night beginning at 6:00 pm in the gym. We are excited about the upcoming fall sports season. Look for information from Coach Carpio. Go Crusaders!
Please remember to follow the morning carline procedures found in the Family Handbook to ensure the safety of all students. We will continue with classroom pickup next week in the afternoons due to the forecasted extreme temperatures.
We take pride in our school uniform, and it’s important that students come to school dressed according to the uniform policy. Please ensure that your student is wearing the correct uniform, including proper footwear. Please make sure that your student’s haircut is in line with the school’s dress code. Hair should be neat, natural in color, and not distract from the learning environment.
Communication is essential to a successful school year. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to the front office, classroom teachers, our school counselor, or our nursing team for any support you may need. The Crusader Connection is your best source of information for school news and events.
I’m looking forward to partnering with you throughout the school year to support your child’s growth and learning. Thank you for your continued support and trust. Together, we will make this a successful and enjoyable year for everyone.
Wishing you a wonderful weekend!
Sincerely in Christ,
Kendall Shamas, Ed. D
