IMPORTANT CARLINE PROCEDURES
Please review the procedures for morning and afternoon carline procedures.
Morning Carline
· Carline begins at 7:40 am.
· No phones to be in use during carline.
· All carline vehicles enter via Cherry Street, forming two lines. The line on the right is the red line (closest to the school) and the line on the left is the blue line (closest to the gym).
· PK, Kinder, and 1st grade students should enter the red line (closest to the school) for drop off.
· Vehicles should proceed and stop before the crosswalk.
· All vehicles should pull up as close as possible to the car in front of them.
· All vehicles when stopped should be put in park for safety.
· Students should be ready to exit the vehicle upon stopping.
· St. Anne staff will announce the start of morning carline with a whistle.
· Students in cars, between the corner of the food pantry and the crosswalk will then exit their car.
· Students in red line (closest to the school) exit their car and walk to the sidewalk to enter the school.
· Students in blue line (closest to the gym) exit their car, walk along the blocked off middle lane, through the gates, and along the sidewalk to the walkway. Students will walk along the sidewalk to enter the school.
· Cars will remain in park and in line until the students have been safely moved.
· St. Anne staff will release cars to exit the parking lot.
· Vehicles will exit out to Cherry Street.
· NOTE: Families arriving after 8:00 am should park at the front of the school and enter the main building to sign their student(s) in.
Afternoon Carline
· Carline begins at 3:35 pm.
· No phones to be in use during carline.
· All carline vehicles enter via Cherry Street, forming two lines. The line on the right is the red (closest to the school) and the line on the left is the blue line (closest to the gym).
· When the parking lot and lines are full, vehicles will go to the overflow parking lot across the street.
· A police officer will be at the street to assist with directing traffic. Please follow the directions of the police officer.
· Your name placard should be placed in your dashboard the entire time you are in the parking lot. Do not remove the placard until you are leaving the parking lot.
· St. Anne staff will enter names for student dismissal. Please do not drive past the staff member before they have entered your name.
· Vehicles will proceed forward to the designated cone at the top of the carline.
· Vehicles must leave the cross walk open for students to pass.
· All vehicles must be put in park when stopped.
· Students will be dismissed from their classes by sets of 12 cars from both lines.
· All students must be loaded in their cars before the lines can move and exit the parking lot.
· St. Anne staff will release the cars to exit the parking lot.
· Vehicles will exit out to Cherry Street.
