Dear St. Anne Catholic School Families:
As we finish the third week of the academic year, I want to express my gratitude for the continued support of our students, parents, and staff. The beginning of a new school year is always a time of excitement and adjustment. As I visited classes, I noticed that the students have quickly settled into their routines, and the school is filled with positive energy. Teachers have been diligently working to establish a strong foundation for the year ahead.
It was great to see our parents at our Parent Information Nights. Your partnership is invaluable and greatly contributes to the success of our school community. Please feel free to reach out to teachers or staff if you have any questions or concerns. We are here to support you and your children every step of the way.
Beginning next week, our school mass will be moved to the gym. The church is undergoing much needed renovations. While we attend mass in the gym, we ask that students remain seated with their classes. As always, parents and families are welcome to join us. Please see a letter from Father Tommy, below, for more information.
Our 8th grade parent coffee will be on Wednesday, right after mass in the library. It’s a great opportunity to spend time sharing information and answering questions.
Thank you for your ongoing commitment to St. Anne Catholic School. Have a blessed holiday weekend!
Sincerely in Christ,
Kendall Shamas, Ed. D
Principal

CARLINE REMINDERS:
SCHOOL DAY | 8:00 AM – 3:35 PM
| |
MORNING CARLINE REMINDERS:
- Carline starts at 7:40am
- Students should not exit the vehicle until they hear the whistle.
- Families with students in PreK/Kinder/1st grade should use red line (the line on the right, closest to the school building).
- Students should not exit the vehicle if the vehicle has not passed the corner of the St. Vincent de Paul building.
- Students in blue line (the line on the left, closest to the gym) should walk up the middle of the parking lot to the covered crosswalk.
AFTERNOON CARLINE REMINDERS:
-
Dismissal starts at 3:35pm, we will resume regular pick up through the carline next week!
- If the main parking lot is full, please enter the overflow lot. Do not turn into the main lot from Cherry Street if there are cars in the overflow lot.
- Follow the painted lines with the center of your vehicle
- Pull up as close as possible to the vehicle in front of you to maximize the number of cars we can get in the parking lot.
- When you are waiting to exit the overflow lot, please do not enter the alley that connects the entrance to the overflow lot with the overflow lot as this prevents vehicles from entering the overflow lot, causing a backup of vehicles on Cherry Street.

Around the Parish and Community | |
Hello St. Anne families!
Frassati Catholic High School is launching a new Business Directory this year that will include listings of community owned and operated businesses. The directory will provide families, benefactors, and friends of Frassati Catholic opportunities to support the local businesses in our community and will be mailed out to their 2000+ mailing list in September. Our friends at Frassati Catholic wanted to extend this opportunity to our school community!
The deadline to be featured in their Business Directory is August 30th, so please don't hesitate to get your FREE listing! There are also opportunities to upgrade to a featured listing if interested.
Please visit their website at https://frassaticatholic.org/directory to secure your free listing! Questions? Please contact Madeline Szostak '18, Director of Special Events and Alumni Relations at m.szostak@frassaticatholic.org.
