Dear Parents,
What a wonderful Catholic Schools Week we had! We are incredibly grateful to everyone who contributed to its success. A special thank you to Mr. Rider for his thoughtful planning and coordination of the week’s events. We also appreciate Mrs. Sullivan, Mr. Akbar, and the Dad’s Club for organizing an outstanding Chili Cook-Off, which was a fantastic way to bring our community together and set a joyful tone for the week.
We extend our gratitude to Mrs. Jones and our choir for their beautiful music and to all who joined us for Mass over the weekend. Our Nickel Wars fundraiser was a tremendous success, raising over $3,700 for St. Vincent de Paul to support the “Work of Mercy” feeding the hungry.
It was great to see so many families at Pastries with Pals. Thank you to
Mrs. Sequeira and Mrs. Rios for planning and hosting this fantastic event. Additionally, our Open House welcomed over 25 prospective families, and we deeply appreciate our parents and students who led tours and shared the good news about St. Anne Catholic School. Throughout the week, our community participated in Adoration for Vocations and the Patriotic Rosary to pray for our nation. Our PTO also generously provided breakfast for our faculty and staff, along with special treats for our students.
We concluded the week with a spirited assembly, planned by Mr. Rider, Mrs. Cruz and Coach Carpio, featuring a student-teacher basketball shootout and a Saints trivia bee, creating joyful memories for all.
We are looking forward to another great week on campus! Our varsity girls' and undefeated boys' basketball teams are headed to the playoffs—be sure to come and cheer on our Crusaders this Tuesday. Next weekend is Steps for Students and we hope to see everyone there.
Sincerely in Christ,
Kendall Shamas, Ed. D
