Rejoice always, pray without ceasing,

for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus.

1 Thessalonians 5:16-17

Dear St. Anne Catholic School Families,

Thank you to all who contributed to the tremendous success of our 40th Anniversary Gala. It was a truly memorable evening celebrating four decades of educating disciples of Christ in faith, knowledge, and charity. The event was a beautiful testament to the deep commitment of our families to Catholic education. We are especially grateful to our investors, donors, sponsors, patrons, underwriters, and guests, whose generosity made this celebration possible.

A special note of appreciation goes to Mr. and Mrs. Stawaisz, parents of Father Ryan Stawaisz, for being our honored guests. Their unwavering faith, love, and dedication have profoundly touched the lives of so many.

Our "Principal for the Day" and "Teacher for the Day" experiences were a wonderful success, filling the halls with joy and excitement.

I am also pleased to introduce Mrs. Jo Anna Lundy, who has joined our staff to assist in Physical Education and Learning Support. With over 30 years of experience working with children, she will be a wonderful addition to our school community. Please join me in warmly welcoming her to St. Anne Catholic School.

Additionally, we are delighted to announce the ordination of Deacon Steve Romero, who now serves as our new deacon at St. Anne Parish. We look forward to his presence at Mass and around our school.

Looking ahead to next week, our Pre-K Mardi Gras parade will take place on Tuesday morning following the morning announcements. On Wednesday, we will observe Ash Wednesday. As the church will be at full capacity, students are reminded to remain with their classes during Mass.

Please keep our eighth-grade students and their chaperones in your prayers as they embark on their trip to Washington, D.C., next week.

As we approach Spring Break, I know everyone is eagerly anticipating a well-deserved time of rest and renewal.

Thank you for choosing St. Anne Catholic School.

Sincerely in Christ,

Kendall Shamas, Ed.D. Principal

DEVELOPMENT CORNER

THANK YOU to all who supported our 40th Anniversary Rubies & Roses Gala with sponsorships, donations, silent and live auction participation, and attendance! It was an amazing evening of fundraising and fellowship, commemorating 40 years of Catholic education and loving God’s will.

We are grateful to all our sponsors and those who donated to our live and silent auctions. Your generosity and commitment to supporting our mission played a vital role in making the event a success.

Please join me in thanking our amazing Gala chair, Mrs. Vecera, and co-chair Mrs. Bergmann. Their dedication and tireless efforts over the last several months made the evening truly unforgettable. I would also like to extend a special thank you to the extraordinary committee members for their enthusiasm and commitment to helping with planning and preparations, leading up to the event as well as after it was over to restore the gym back to its normal state. This remarkable group of ladies came together with a shared vision, each bringing their unique strengths, in a collaborative manner to turn ideas into action. We could not have done it without them!
