Welcome to the NEW look and format of Crusader Connection, the e-newsletter specifically intended to engage middle school families with Sheboygan Lutheran High!

The 2024-2025 school year is off to a great start. It began with the traditional Senior Sunrise at the beach, and since then, we've welcomed 51 freshmen to the hallways, gotten to know 3 new staff members (Mr. Tschudy - Executive Director; Mrs. Schultz - Spanish teacher; Mrs. Polster - Math teacher), hosted over 200 families at the Community Family Fair, and mastered class schedules and locker combinations!

Fall sports are in full swing, and a few highlights include:

• Boys' varsity soccer is off to an 11-1 start to the season, currently ranked #1 in the state for Division 3!
• JV Football is undefeated with a 5-0 record!
• Girls' varsity cross country has taken 1st place at the Smiley Invitational, the Poynette Puma Meet, and the Mishicot Invite!

Now we're in the midst of Homecoming Week, and we're enjoying class competitions and themed dress up days. From dodgeball to powder puff football, human pyramid building to tug-of-wars, the bonfire to the big dance... memories are being made and fun is being had.

Now that you've seen where we've been, let's take just a few minutes to bring you up to speed on what's happening next at Lutheran High!

CRUSADER EXPERIENCE DAYS

Tuesday, October 8 & Thursday, October 10

Be a Crusader for a Day! 7th & 8th graders from our SALSA elementary schools will be getting a glimpse of life at LHS. Students will be paired with a current Crusader, attend classes and chapel, and more. Plus, we'll feed them lunch! Students from non-SALSA schools are invited to attend as well. Learn more on our event page.

Parents, YOU are invited too! Join us for chapel, a parent presentation on what makes Sheboygan Lutheran unique, and helpful tips on making the leap from middle school to high school...followed by a free lunch. ​Parents, please be sure to register in advance.

OPEN HOUSE

Tuesday, October 29, 6-8 pm

You're invited to discover what makes Sheboygan Lutheran a great choice for the high school experience!

This event is ideal for families just like you, with students in grades 5-8. Group tours will begin every 10 minutes from 6-7 pm. Please allow one hour for the full experience. During the tour, you and your child will:

• See our beautiful campus.
• Meet top-notch teachers and faculty.
• Learn about curriculum and activities.
• Chat with current Crusader students.
• See what a Christ-centered education can mean for you!
