Dear St. Anne Catholic School Parents:

We had a wonderful celebration of National Catholic Schools Week. Throughout the week there were many opportunities to celebrate the blessings of our Catholic school. We kicked off Catholic Schools Week with our annual Chili Cookoff. We are so grateful to Mr. Feldman and the Dad’s Club for sponsoring this event. The Saturday evening mass was filled with St. Anne students and families. Our choir did a wonderful job singing during mass. Thank you to Mrs. Jones for her dedication to our students and our school. Monday started our Nickel Wars and throughout the week we raised over $3300.00 which will be donated to Father Ryan’s movie, “Love God’s Will”. Our Pastries with Pals event was well attended, thank you to our PTO for hosting this event. On Wednesday, the students attended school mass and participated in the Patriotic Rosary and on Thursday we prayed for vocations during Adoration. On Friday our wonderful PTO provided breakfast for the faculty and staff and students brought in notes of appreciation. We are so grateful to our PTO and parent community for all of the support and special treats for Catholic Schools Week.

Our Future Family Open House on Wednesday was very well attended. We have many families interested in attending our school and we are excited to welcome them to our family. Thank you to those who have shared the good news about St. Anne with your friends and encouraged them to visit. Thank you to our parents and our students who gave tours for Open House. Registration is now open for new students.



Steps for Students is just one week away! Our goal is to have 100% student participation in this event. The money raised supports our school and helps us to reach our overall fundraising goal. Don’t want to run or walk – you can hit “snooze” for schools and still participate! Click here to register.

Thank you to all who have registered and donated! We are currently at 61% registered and we have raised $5,450. We are making great progress!

Incentives reminders:

• All who are registered can wear their Steps for Students shirt on Friday, February 9.
• Every class that achieves 100% registration gets a Blue Bell Ice Cream Party!
• Every student who raises $100 gets spirit dress for a week
• The class that raises the most gets a special treat party
• The individual that raises the most gets a Main Event Gift Card
• The winner of the registration competition between elementary and middle school gets a donut party

Required – CMG Safe Haven Training and Background Check

We are so excited about the upcoming 2023-2024 school year, and we are thankful for everyone who volunteers their time and talents to St. Anne Catholic School. The students, teachers and parents really appreciate all the hard work that is put into making all our events a success.

All volunteers and staff must be CMG Safe Haven trained to work with children within the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston. Please plan time to take the online, self-paced, Safe Environment Course (CMG Connect). This course certification is entirely free, online, easy to complete, and valid for five years.

Click on the link below to register. You will not need to print the certificate since all your training completion dates are retained in the system. If you have any questions or need some assistance, please  email Elizabeth Dailey in the school office.

You will be required to complete a criminal background check as part of the registration process.

On the last page of the curriculum, submit your background check information. Please enter your name as listed on your government issued identification.
