Enrollment for 2021-2022

Thanks to all of our families who have completed the online enrollment process! If you have not completed your child's enrollment packet, we've added some information to the website to assist you. The instructions that were included in the parent re-enrollment email have been added to the website in Documents & Forms>Re-Enrollment. A link to the Parish Verification Form is provided there as well. You may access the new FACTS SIS Family Portal to finish your enrollment at anytime using the link on the website's Quick Links bar. Service hours are also available for the donation of the following gift cards (1 hour per $25 donated):

Home Depot/Lowe's/Economy Supply Gift Cards -- to purchase lumber for raised bed gardens at high school
Restaurant and fast food gift cards ($5-25)-- for student incentives

A/B EXAM WEEK SCHEDULE

Congratulations to Sarah Gallardo for being named a Distinguished Finalist for Mississippi in the Prudential Spirit of Community Awards. She started a puzzle swap to promote positive mental health during the pandemic. If you’re interested in getting a puzzle for free, please go to the Oak Grove Library. There is a “Puzzle Swap” box out front-made by Sarah.

Lucy Mellen named as Presidential Scholar

Sacred Heart Catholic School senior Lucy Mellen has been selected as a candidate for the 2021 U. S. Presidential Scholars Program. She is among 86 Mississippi candidates chosen for the program, which recognizes students for their achievement in academics, arts, and career and technical education.

JUNIOR FEMALES - AMERICAN LEGION AUXILIARY GIRLS STATE

American Legion Auxiliary Girls State provides an opportunity for superior high school women who have completed their junior year to experience the “nitty gritty” of state government processes—the chance to live outside the text book. This program not only instills in its attendees a sense of pride and loyalty in America, but also prepares these women for a career in politics, public service, and excellence along their career path. It is the chance to plunge head-first into democracy, develop sharp leadership skills, and create the foundation for informed and responsible world citizenship. Uniform Sale

Uniforms and Accessories will be in Hattiesburg Wednesday, February 24th (PLC DAY) starting at 1:00 pm. They will be set up in the High School Cafeteria. Due to COVID-19 restrictions you will need to sign up for a designated time slot.

Sacred Heart Catholic School will once again be participating in the Hattiesburg Half Marathon/10K/5K race April 10th, 2021. We are looking for volunteers to help on race day. Please go to the link below to sign-up.

Specific location will be given closer to the date, but it will be around the SH High School. Meet at your location at 6:30am and you will be finished by 8:30am. Wear Blue/ White/ Sacred Heart Shirts. You will cheer for the runners as they pass through the SHS mile. Bring pom-poms or any spirit items you have. Signs will be provided (or you can bring your own)! Let's share the SHS Spirit!

Hattiesburg 1/2 Marathon Volunteer Sign Up

Parents: Please check your school lunch accounts. Many are past due. Please make a payment through "My School Bucks" or send a check to the school. If you are unsure of your balance, call the school office and ask for the cafeteria.

High School Free Dress - Friday, 2/26 for students that sold 10 or more trash bags in the PTO Trash Bag Fundraiser. Please follow handbook policy on free dress.

Any high school junior who plans to enroll in college in the fall of 2022 and is an American citizen or legal permanent resident, is eligible to apply for the Coolidge Scholarship. For more information and to apply, visit www.coolidgescholars.org.
