Highlights from the
DUO Service Fair
On Tuesday, September 3rd Trinity Catholic High School hosted the first annual Service Fair as part of the launch of the new Do Unto Others (DUO) program. Over 30 organizations representing religious, civic, and educational institutions hosted a table at the school. As part of the DUO program, students are required to complete between 15-25 hours of service each school year. Chris Woodside, moderator of the DUO program, explained the benefit of having a fair such as this. “It is vital that students see service as part of their responsibilities as an adult Christian throughout their life, and not just as a graduation requirement,” Woodside said. “This service fair is meant to help students identify their individual gifts and talents that they possess and how best to use those God given talents to help the Stamford and greater Fairfield county with their wide variety of needs.
