Anyone feeling the holiday pressure already? Don’t panic. Take a deep breath. You can do this and I want to help. Here is my Christmas gift to you - my pretty, free, printable Holiday Step-Back Plan!

It’s a simple idea, but the results will genuinely amaze you. No matter what your holidays have looked like in the past, my hope is to help give you one of the best presents you can give yourself - the gift of being present and relaxed.

I know how busy the holidays can feel. That’s why, when my kids were little, I created the Holiday Step-Back Plan to bring some peace back into a season meant for joy. I’m sharing it with you—free—so you can move from Thanksgiving to New Years with more ease, more calm, and more room for what truly matters.

I've pulled together a list of every holiday “to do” that might land in your lap. The goal is to set aside one hour, customize your plan, and work your plan before Thanksgiving. Then coast from Turkey Day to New Year’s.

If you have small children, swap childcare with a friend or invite a family member to watch the kids so you can head to your favorite coffee shop by yourself with this printed plan, your calendars, and a pencil. Set all distractions aside. The Holiday Step-Back Plan will walk you through the process and by the time you get back in your car, you’ll have a handle on your holidays.

Don't forget to get input and communicate ideas with your family. I’m not promising a perfect holiday—no one ever has one—but these simple steps can bring you closer to the kind of calm, joy, and connection that makes the season truly memorable.

I’d be thrilled to hear how the plan goes for you. Please don’t hesitate to forward this to a friend who could use it.

Blessings,

P.S. Before you start your plan, take five minutes to jot down your hopes for the holidays in your journal. Ask yourself if you could choose one word to capture how you want this season to feel, what would it be? Write it on a post-it note and stick in on your mirror. This is a simple way to set your intentions for a joyful season.
