Puzzle Palooza

Ages 8+

Races against other teams to finish the same 500 piece jigsaw puzzle. Bring snacks and enjoy time with family and friends. Ice cream sundae bar compliments of Crystal Lake Baskin Robbins. First, second and third place prizes will be awarded for fastest completion. Only one member of each team needs to register.

Seasonal Updates

Batting cages at Lippold Park (851 W. Route 176, one mile west of Route 14, Crystal Lake) open for the season on March 21. The batting cage system features four token-operated dual function cages with fastpitch baseball and slow pitch softball in every tunnel. Tokens can be purchased at the batting cages for $1 for 10 balls. The token machine accepts $1, $5, $10 and $20 bills.


During regular office hours, contact Ian Booker at 815.459.0680, xt.1210, ibooker@crystallakeparks.org for batting cage group reservations and information.

We heard you! We are putting our Pickleball nets (Spoerl Park) and Tennis nets (Veteran Acres) up soon to accommodate anyone who itching to get on the courts.


Come on out and play beginning the week of March 24.

The Crystal Lake Park District offers community garden plots at Hill Farm Acres and registration is open to the public. Hill Farm Acres is located at 695 Barlina Rd, behind Barlina House Preschool and Barn.
