Our summer Theatre Camp performers have been hard at work preparing for their big moment on stage this weekend. Let's pack the Crystal Lake South High School auditorium and show some appreciation for our local up and coming musical theatre talent 🎭🎼🌟

Food and beverage (beer and wine) and small charcoal grills are allowed (no glass please.)

Concert Schedule

The Monarch Coalition is bringing to the beach an engaging Monarch Fair loaded with activities, games and monarch education. Buy a pollinator plant and help us repopulate the monarchs! Wander to the band shell where we will be showcasing local bands for your entertainment.


12:30-4 pm: Monarch Fair

Migrate to the beach for the afternoon to enjoy Monarch Mania and learn all about Monarchs. A Monarch extravaganza with butterfly and pollinator plants information, face painting, science table activities, art activities, a big migration route map, information on how Mexico, Canada and USA are collaborating! We will have pollinator plants available for you to purchase from our participating nurseries.


1-4:30 pm: Community Band Showcase

The Crystal Lake Community Band hosts a music showcase at the band shell featuring performances by local bands and ensembles


Hosted by the Monarch Coalition and the Crystal Lake Park District.

"Be (on) the ball" and join us as we watch the snobs take on the slobs in the hilarious blockbuster movie, Caddyshack! We'll have entertainment and games leading up to the movie which will make you feel like you're hanging at Bushwood Country Club. Wear your tackiest golf attire and get ready for an explosive good time!


We are thrilled to announce a new addition to the Caddyshack Movie in the Park event. With just over 2 weeks to prepare, there is plenty of time to create an award winning Caddyshack/Wacky Golf themed costume.


5:30-8:30 pm DJ & Games, food trucks, beer/wine/seltzer (Hungry Hungry Gopher, Baby Ruth Toss, Mini Golf, and MORE)

7-7:30 pm Costume Contest at the Bandshell (free to enter, sign up at event), prize awarded for winner of each category. Contest emceed by Joe & Tina of Star 105.5 radio.

• Best Caddyshack Character Look-Alike (judge’s scoring)

• Best Couple Costume (judge’s scoring)

• People's Choice (by applause)

8:30-10 pm: Caddyshack on the large screen


Food trucks, beer/seltzer/wine and lots of goodies available for purchase. No coolers or outside food allowed.


$15 per person: Pre-Sale tickets at Eventbrite until Th, August 10 at midnight or capacity sells out


$20 per person: at the door tickets (ticket sales may be limited by the number of pre-sale tickets sold)
