April 15, 2020
Hello my CtK Family,
As we all continue to sit at home, I ponder, "How can we connect and do things together?" I've seen a lot of interesting ideas on the internet and am thinking we need to bring some fun to CtK. So, be watching. Each week, we will introduce a new CtK activity that you can do from home. Below are the first two ideas for the CtK Fellowship Quarantine:
- Week 1, April 15-April 22; CtK Easter Bonnet Challenge: The day of Easter is behind us, but the Easter season continues until May 31, so it's not too late to don a fresh Easter Bonnet. Look through your house, find random items (paper plates, bits of ribbons, dusty silk flowers...you get the idea) and create your 2020 quarantine bonnet. Take pictures of yourself in the said bonnet and email them to firstname.lastname@example.org by next Wednesday, April 22.
- If our CtK men and boys are not interested in making a bonnet, feel free to make an Easter hat or tie.
- A picture of Sheri Sullivan, Hillary's mom, can be seen at the bottom of this email with her homemade Easter bonnet.
- Ongoing: H.A.T.S. Family Challenge. This is a Facebook Challenge started by my family just a few weeks ago. Each Sunday a theme of the week is revealed. Families have until Friday to upload their family video. Themes so far have been Pie, Stuck and Game. Submissions from previous weeks along with the video introducing this program can be seen at the Facebook group Families Actively Creating Together (F.A.C.T.). This is a great way to get your creative juices flowing and share your family fun with others near and far.
Please email me if you have any questions. I can't wait to see what you all come up with.
