CtK Flower Sale and Youth News
Friday greetings to all!
At a time when it seems nearly everything has been cancelled, we are excited to announce that we are still having our Annual Youth Flower Sale! Spring is definitely in the air and we've been rather cooped up lately, so it's a good time to start thinking about sprucing up our planting beds and patios with beautiful flowers. Our Youth Flower sale is a great way to order your annuals, patio pots and hanging baskets just in time for Mother's Day, while supporting our CtK Youth Trips. This summer's trip to Jamaica is still pending, but funds raised will also support next summer's trip to Minneapolis for the ELCA National Youth Gathering. Our young people are already starting to get excited about that trip! To order flowers, please go to our CtK website at www.ctkluth.com/flowersale where you will find the order form, instructions, and an option to pay online. You can also pick up a paper order form at the church office, and mail in your completed form and check.

Orders are due: April 26th

Flowers will be available for pick up at CtK: Friday, May 8 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. (we will follow safety and social distancing recommendations at that time). Please note there is also the option of delivery, and our youth/youth families will be happy to bring the flowers to you. Thanks so much for supporting our CtK Youth!
Youth Zoom Update:
What else have our youth been up to? We've been "Zooming" every day! All 6th-12th grade youth are invited to join us online Monday through Friday, from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m., for a friendly chat and check-in, Pastor Brad's "Question of the Day," a Bible reading and discussion, and a closing prayer. We've had groups of 6 to 12 each day, with different youth joining us throughout the week. We've heard some wonderful stories of how the youth are making the best of these times, and we've also heard of their frustrations and disappointments. It's just nice to be able to "see" each other and chat each day. Hope to see even more youth get on board soon! Please see the CtK website at www.ctkluth.com/zoommeetings for the Youth Zoom invite, or contact myself or Pastor Brad for more information.
Graduation Recognition:
Finally, I'd like to bring your attention to recognizing our upcoming graduates. Both the High School and College graduates of 2020 have had to face a lot of disappointment in how their senior year is finishing up due to the pandemic. But we know they have all worked so hard and achieved so much, and we want to celebrate them! We are still working on plans for their recognition and blessing, but in the meantime, if you have a High School or College graduate this year, please let me know, and I will send you the "Graduation Information" form, and keep in touch with you about upcoming plans.
As always, thank you CtK for your enthusiastic support of our youth. They know they are loved at CtK, and can't wait to get back and be together with everyone again!
Blessings to you all this Palm Sunday,
Faith Jordan
