Due to ongoing electrical outage at Convergence,
the CTK concert this Saturday, 11/9, has been canceled.

please dress accordingly. Thank you for understanding, and we look forward to seeing you at the 8:30 or 10:00 am service.

Are you feeling lonely? Have you ever experienced loneliness? What about feelings of isolation? Recent Barna research says, “Nearly one in four (23%), of 18–35-year-old respondents, acknowledges encountering feelings of loneliness and isolation.” Many of us cry out to God like the Psalmist, saying, “Turn to me and be gracious to me, for I am lonely and afflicted.” (Psalm 25:16, ESV). We can feel and be so lonely and disconnected in this fallen, busy, independent, and coldly digital world. However, God is with us. We can be encouraged in the presence of God. As God encouraged Joshua, “Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” (Joshua 1:9, ESV). May we be courageous and present with our God who promises us we are never alone.
In Christ alone,
Robbie Pruitt

Ministry Update   Sojourners is the name given to the ministry we began in 2016 as we intentionally opened our doors to Michel. Like so many, Michel had fled the violence of his own home and found a new home with us. Due to the exciting and likely possibility that Michel will soon be reunited with his family of four, we have not yet expanded this ministry. Our goal is to first provide for this dear family and then prayerfully consider expanding this ministry to others. For more information, please contact the coordinator for this ministry, Jack Rusenko at [email protected] .
