**Please join us at the upcoming PFC Meeting with Special Guests, Angela Cutbill (Board Member) and Megan Glynn (SEVYMCA Chief Development officer) to discuss a proposed Bond Measure to help fund critical needs for Las Virgenes Schools. We need parent support and involvement for this bond to succeed, so please prioritize this PFC meeting!
Donate Leftover Halloween Candy to Operation Gratitude!
The Chaparral Wellness Team is collecting leftover Halloween candy during drop off on Wednesday Nov. 6th .

Collection is 7:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. in the drop off lane.
The past 2 years we have collected almost 500 pounds of candy and shipped it off to our troops via Operation Gratitude! Let's see how much we can send this year!droppable-1572805978478
Veteran's Day Assembly this Friday, Nov. 8th
In honor of Veteran's Day, we will have a Veteran’s Day assembly this Friday, Nov. 8th, at 8 a.m.  Please have students show their spirit by wearing red, white and blue or Cubwear. Chaparral wants to show their gratitude to veterans in our community. We hope you can help us by inviting the veterans in your family and in our community to attend. This can include grandparents, aunts, uncles, friends or other family members. Please remember to have our veterans and their families sign-in at the front office.
LOST & FOUND
Parents have another chance to check the lost and found!

It will be emptied and donated on Wednesday, November 6th right after the PFC Meeting . If you are available to stay and help, please contact  Aneta Prince .

2nd Annual 360 Talks Event
This Tuesday, Nov. 5th 6:00 pm
Dear LVUSD Community,

Due to popular demand, we are moving our 2nd Annual 360 Talks event to the Agoura High School Main Stage next Tuesday, November 5th at 6:00 PM.

Because of this, the once sold out event has additional tickets now available.

(Rescheduled) Picture Retake Day is Thursday, November 7th
8:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m
Picture Retake Day is for students who missed Picture Day or have purchased a package and want to exchange it for a new one.  Students must return the unwanted package (*minus the class group photo)  to the photographer on Retake Day. A new package will be delivered free of charge but will not include the class group photo since those cannot be retaken.

Special Event: BRRRReakfast at Chap!

Rosti - pronounced (Row-stee). Definition: Short for Rosticceria, an informal Italian countryside kitchen or restaurant. Chaparral Restaurant Night - pronounced (Sha-pə-ral Re-stə-ränt Nīt). Definition: A dynamite way to earn money for our school by eating out ALL WEEK LONG!

Help support our school and have your child enjoy Sports Plus Day Camp this winter. Sports Plus Day Camp will be open this winter from December 23rd – January 10th at AC Stelle Middle School. Chaparral PFC will receive $50 for each camper that registers from this fundraiser by December 1st.
