Are you in search of more cozy uniform options for the changing weather? Has your student experienced a sudden growth spurt? If so, Cubberley PTA's year-round uniform exchange program can help. We currently have a variety of dress code-approved clothing items available in all sizes (little kids size 4/5 up to adult).
To make a uniform request, either check in with Ana Ortiz in the front office or send an email with your contact information and requested clothing items/sizes to abigailkuebert@gmail.com.
If you have any stain- and tear-free uniform items to donate, please drop them off in the blue and yellow crate in the front office any time during school office hours.
Thank you!

Please remember that the Long Beach Unified School District requires all students in kindergarten through 8th grade to wear a school uniform on campus. At Cubberley, this includes a solid white, navy, or light blue top and navy bottoms. Middle school students may also choose red shirts and dark denim or khaki bottoms. Spirit Wear is also encouraged.

Send a Note for Student Absences
|
Regular, on-time attendance is most important for success at school. Parents are strongly urged to send their child to school on time every day, unless he or she is ill. (Please plan family vacations around the school calendar.)
Phone calls will not be accepted to excuse absences. Instead, a written note from the parent or guardian is required. The note should be sent with the student upon return, and given to the teacher, or may be emailed to our attendance clerk, April Moore, at Amoore1@lbschools.net. Absence notes need to include the child's first and last name, date(s) of absence, reason for absence, and parent/guardian signature. Please download the template here.
Children returning after having a contagious disease will need to be readmitted through the nurse's office. If your child is late to school and arrives before 9:30, they may go straight to class. A child arriving after 9:30 needs to check in with the office before going to class. Exception: if your child was at school, signed out and returned to school the same day, the office needs to have the return time filled in on the sign-out sheet.
If a student goes to the doctor or dentist, a note is required from the doctor/dentist for the absence to be excused.
Thank you for your cooperation!
