Netflix customers are receiving emails asking to verify or change log-in information. They are then directed to yet another page to verify payment information. Do not click the link or respond to emails requesting updated information.
This is an example of a "phishing" scam, and the fake webpages are surprisingly convincing!
If you receive an email like this, delete it. Any time you wish to check any subscription, go to their official page. Do not use the link in an email.

Illinois Sheriff’s Association Scholarship Program
The Illinois Sheriff’s Association annually issues over 100 scholarships throughout the state. Eligible Lake County students compete for a $500 scholarship that is awarded in Lake County each year. Applicants for the scholarships compete in an essay contest, as part of their application process. For more information, please contact the Sheriff’s Administration at 847-377-4000.

Meet new people and learn important safety skills. You don't have to join the team.
A free six-week training course on emergency preparedness will run on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm, February 15 through March 22. Sessions will be held at the Fremont Township Center. The next Fremont Cert Public Information session is on February 6, 2017 at 7:00pm.
It may be winter but it’s a good time to get ready for boating season. This presentation by the US Coast Guard Auxiliary will cover some of the topics in its’ All About Boater Safety courses that have become mandatory for new boaters to take and pass. The presentation is hosted by the Community Emergency Response Team of Fremont Township. Refreshments will be served.

Fremont Township recycles shoes year round. You will find a bin on our front porch. If you are disposing of shoes that have laces, please tie the laces together.
We also accept eyeglasses.
