DAILY ITINERARY 
Enjoy a memorable & culinary trip to France ( It is a 10 day Tour, from Bordeaux to Bordeaux ) with Chef Didier Durand. It begins on Friday, March 5 and ends on Sunday March 14, 2021. Chef Didier will welcome everyone at the Bordeaux train station "Gare Saint Jean" ( only gare station ) in Bordeaux, and will take everyone, early to middle afternoon, by bus to Sarlat-La-Caneda, Dordogne, Southwest of France, in Perigord, Chef's birth land area. 

The following price & itinerary of this exciting, limited to a few guests, about 20 guests, includes all of the following: 10 days of hotels accommodations, all breakfasts, all several courses, luncheons, 6 dinners, all accompanied with wines & beers, coffee, etc, sometimes aperitifs too ( only 3 evenings will be at your leisure, so you can do some shopping too ). Also includes all bus travel, entrance & tickets to daily activities ( see activities below ). All daily travels ( from March 5 to March 14 ) are with an 44 seats Deluxe A/C and Heated Motor Coach. Every day is more enticing!!!

The cost is $2895 ( all taxes included ) per guest, twin occupancy. Single occupancy is available. 

(That price does not include the airfare from the States to Paris, nor the train tickets for Paris to Bordeaux and Bordeaux to Paris. Take the TGV, the Fast Speed Train, takes about a couple hours from Paris to Bordeaux and it is also inexpensive)
Friday March 5th: 
Leaving Bordeaux, with the bus, going to an 3 star Hotel, in Sarlat-La-Caneda, where we will stay for 3 nights as we visit that area
Stop at Les Eyzies to see the Cro-Magnon Man
Welcome cocktail at the Hotel
Welcome dinner at a Sarlat Restaurant
Back to the Hotel ( across the restaurant )

Saturday March 6th: 
Breakfast at the Hotel.
Taking again an Deluxe, a/c & heated bus ( the same bus for the whole trip ) to the town of les Eyzies 
Visit of " Le Gouffre de Proumeyssac ", called "The Cristal Cathedral", near the town of Rocamadour. The most famous cave in Europe and most interesting geological site, with stalagmites & stalactites
Visit of the 100 years old Magnificent Gardens of Marqueyssac
Lunch at a restaurant in les Eyzies
Visit of Chateau Des Milandes and the life of Josephine Baker
Visit of its surrounding Gardens and the many Falcons and Birds of Prey
Dinner at a local auberge

Sunday March 7th: 
Breakfast at the Hotel
Visit of the town of Sarlat, and its market
One of a kind Lunch, with 14 courses, degustation style menu, made of every part of the goose, many geese are loose in the town, walking down the street to celebrate that special weekend. This is a Feast D'Oie, attended by hundreds of guests from all over the world, all course accompanied with local wines. Enjoying many attractions of this two days event, taking place in the medieval heart of this town.

Monday March 8th: 
Breakfast at the Hotel
Taking the bus to visit the Lascaux IV Caves, world known and unique opportunity to explore primitive painting from 20,000 years ago
Lunch at La Dornac and visit to a goose farm
Visit of the Chocolate Museum 
Visit of Collonges Rouge, an pittoresque red brick town 
Visit of a little shop where you can buy honey, mustards, etc...
Going to new 3 stars hotel in Perigeux for 2 nights
Dinner at the hotel

Tuesday March 9th: 
Breakfast at the Hotel
Visit of a Limoges porcelain store 
Visit of a seedling and garden store
Hunting & visit of a truffle farm, we will unearth fresh truffles with Loris, the specialized Doggy. 
Option to bring some back too! 
Gourmet truffle lunch at the farm
Back to the hotel
Late afternoon & dinner at your leisure

Wednesday March 10th: 
Breakfast at the Hotel
Visit of the local 3 different farmers market around the Cathedral in Perigeux
Cooking class in a Charcuterie in Perigeux
Lunch in the old town 
Going to visit an spirit distillery in Villamblard
Arriving to a new hotel, 4 stars, next to Bergerac
Dinner at the hotel, 1 star michelin guide 

Thursday March 11th: 
Breakfast at the Hotel 
Visit of a car museum in Pomport
Lunch in Monbazillac where Chef trained during his cooking school
Visit and degustation of a winery in Bergerac 
IVBD Educational wine tasting where we will understand more of any wine making 
Dinner at a Bistrot in Monestier 
Back to Hotel

Friday March 12th: 
Breakfast at the Hotel
Visit of a Pastry factory in Bergerac
Visit of old Bergerac
Visit, degustation and lunch at Chateau Haut Sarthes
Visit of Chateau Saint Georges in Saint Emilion
Going to an 3 stars hotel in bordeaux for two nights, close to the train station so we can go back to Paris on Sunday easily, or just stay in town.

Saturday March 13th: 
Breakfast at the Hotel
Visit of a Chateau in the Right Bank 
Lunch in Saint Emillion old town 
Visit of underground Saint Emilion, its collegiate church and its cloister 
Visit of Bordeaux, La Cite du Vin, going around the banks of the Garonne River
Cooking class with Master Chef Miachael GUEDJ 
Dinner in Bordeaux Brasserie
Back to Hotel

Sunday March 14th: 
Breakfast at the Hotel
Memoir of the Trip 
Visit of several Bordeaux Farmers & Antiques Markets if desired
Morning at your leisure 
Departure from Bordeaux to Paris in TGV Train unless you plan to stay a bit more in Bordeaux, some may want to stay a bit more in Paris, too ) 


Payment Schedule: 
$795 due with reservation before or by JAN 20th, 2021

2nd Payment of $700 DUE JAN 30th, 2021 
3rd Payment of $700 DUE FEB 10th, 2021 
Final Payment of $700 DUE FEB 20th, 202

Cancellation Fees as follows and will be applied for these reasons:
(For this trip, a cancellation means that you are cancelling for a personal reason and cannot take the trip.
If this is something from the Government, the Airlines or CDC, then all deposits would be refunded ).

1) Cancellations posted, in writing, within 30 days of departures, penalty of 40% of the Tour
2) Cancellations posted, in writing, within 15 days of departures, penalty of 60% of the Tour
3) After that, cancellations and/or No Show, penalty of 100% of the Tour
Bus Tour reservations names and deposits can be transfer to anyone at anytime, with an additional $200 flat fee, per person.
