Survey results are in!
We appreciate all the feedback provided in the survey that we sent out last month. As you know, for the first time ever, the Culligan City of Palms Classic took place in the brand-new Suncoast Credit Union Arena at FSW last year. With this change, we discovered great benefits and new challenges of hosting the popular tournament at a new venue. 

Here are some of our top findings:
  • 91.02% of those responding had attended in prior years
  • 95.21 were satisfied with the tournament
  • 92.77% were very satisfied, satisfied or neutral about our pricing
  • 97.59% were very satisfied, satisfied or neutral about the teams
  • 96.89% were very satisfied, satisfied or neutral about the schedule
  • 92.82% were very satisfied or satisfied about the new arena
  • 86.74% were very satisfied, satisfied or neutral about the inside concessions
  • 93.87% were very satisfied, satisfied or neutral about the outside concessions
  • 80.01% were very satisfied, satisfied or neutral about the ticket ordering
  • 80.13% were very satisfied, satisfied or neutral about the parking
Spalding Hoop Hall Classic featured COP players
The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame's Hoophall Classic features the top high school players and teams from around the country each year. The event was held the weekend of January 14 to16 at Springfield College's Blake Arena in Springfield, Mass.

The top five COP Classic players featured in the game included:

Wendell Carter, No. 3 ESPN 100 class of 2017
Trevon Duval, No. 4 ESPN 100 class of 2017

McDonald's All-American picks

The 40th McDonald's All American Games will be held on March 29, 2017 at the United Center in Chicago, Ill. The games are set to feature elite high school basketball players from around the country, including two  schools from the Sunshine State: Tampa Catholic High School and IMG Academy in Bradenton.

Oak Hill Academy ends Chino Hill's 60-game win streak 
The Chino Hills basketball team entered the Nike Extravaganza on February 4 riding a 60-game win streak, 25 wins this year and 35 from last year. Despite its best efforts, Chino Hill's path to glory was blocked when Oak Hill Academy, ranked No. 14 in USA Today, came out victorious with a 96-91 win in front of a sold out crowd of 5,000 in Santa Ana, Calif. Due to missed free throws, turnovers, and an uncharacteristically bad shooting night, the No. 2 ranked Huskies were handed their first loss in over a year. Read more >>
