Threads of Tradition: An Introduction to Phulkari Embroidery 

Halton Hills has once again teamed up with Milton, Burlington, and Oakville to present a special series of artist workshops exploring concepts of home and belonging. This year, discover the exquisite art of Phulkari embroidery with artist Rafia Shafiq.

National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

The National Day for Truth and Reconciliation is Tuesday, September 30th. A day to commemorate and honour the children who did not return from residential schools and the survivors who did, their families, and the resiliency of their communities. Learn more about the Town's commitments to Truth and Reconciliation here.

Create wire art in a hands-on workshop with James and Lynn Paterson, featuring a reading and interactive storytelling with Paterson's book and sculpture, presented in partnership with the Halton Hills Public Library for the Children's Festival.
